Sol Guy
Sol Guy is the co-founder of DCM, and co-creator,
co-producer,
and host of 4REAL. A veteran artist
manager, Sol is one of Canada’s leading music
executives. He brings 15 years of experience in
the music, entertainment and media industry to
DCM.
Sol has worked closely with some of the highest
profile artists of our time such as Lauryn Hill,
P Diddy, India Arie, k-os, Rascalz, The Roots,
Outkast, Kardinal Offishall, Dead Prez, B.I.G.
and The Wu-Tang Clan.
In 2004, Sol co-founded Direct Current Media with
Josh Thome to utilize the power of media and the
Internet to educate, inspire and empower others
to make a difference.

Josh Thome
Josh Thome is co-founder of DCM, co-creator, co-producer
and co-director
of 4REAL. His work and media to activate
people on environmental and social causes have reached
millions through live events, TV, radio, film and
the Internet.
Josh has presented at the United Nations on youth,
the environment and education, and was contracted
by the Clinton Administration to appropriate environmental
youth grants. Recently he was featured in the book,
The Starfish and the Spider: The Unstoppable Power
of Leaderless Organizations for his unique ability
to spark movements by inspiring people to action.
Along with his brother, Jade Thome, Josh partnered
with Chief Tashka and Laura Yawanawa to create
the film YAWA, a documentary about
the history
and
traditions
of the Yawanawa people in the Amazon rainforest.
Josh co-founded Direct Current Media with Sol
Guy in 2004 as a vehicle for their unique brand
of media that combines socially relevant and financially
viable content to create economic engines for social
change.

Shoshana Raven
Guy
Shoshana Raven Guy is the lead writer and director
for 4REAL.
A 2003 graduate of Columbia Journalism School, Shoshana's
has work has covered a broad range of topics including
race, poverty, politics, health and the environment.
In 2004 she was the recipient of the Frontline World
fellowship and produced a multimedia project about
Haiti's water crisis (www.pbs.org/frontlineworld/fellows/haiti).
Shoshana has spent most of her professional career working for NBC News and has produced programming for Dateline NBC and Tom Brokaw Reports. Of her many hours dedicated to producing network television she is most proud to have helped produce an hour on evangelical Christianity, (In God they Trust: Tom Brokaw Reports) and an hour on race and poverty, (Separate and Unequal: Tom Brokaw Reports). Separate and Unequal was nominated for a 2007 Emmy for Best News Magazine Report and won the 2007 Unity Award.
Shoshana has worked in West Africa, Brazil, Peru, Haiti, and Venezuela. She is based in Brooklyn, NY. |

Jade Thome
Jade is the lead creator and producer of 4REAL.com,
the partner website for the 4REAL television series,
and a dynamic online community where music, art, culture,
and social
change converge.
Jade is also the associate producer for 4REAL,
as well as the show's principle
photographer, documenting the stories of
each episode’s
journey.
With 10 years of experience in database/web
engineering, Jade has created websites for thousands
of clients,
ranging from NGOs to multimillion dollar companies,
including some of the world’s leading medical
labs.
Prior to his career in web engineering, Jade was
an active environmentalist and youth leader. He
served as a leading coordinator in the multimedia
YES! (Youth for Environmental
Sanity) Tour, a touring youth leadership group
that has presented to more than 600,000 students
in seven countries.
He also served as associate producer for the film
YAWA, a documentary about the history and traditions
of the Yawanawa people in the Amazon rainforest,
which he produced with his brother Josh Thome.
